Originally owned by six GP directors; AT Medics has been a leading provider of primary care services in London. Today, the company has grown to include several hospitals and a network of 49 GP surgeries.
Dr Lebbe’s background in social deprivation and organisational turnaround makes her a perfect fit for Operose Health. She holds a Level 2 RCGP Substance Misuse Qualification and leads on Urgent Care throughout the organisation. Operose Health’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Nick Harding, is a practising GP with 25 years of clinical experience. He has held a number of senior roles, including a senior clinical advisory role with NHS England’s Accountable Care Systems. He has worked for Right Care, as a senior clinician for a leading NHS organisation, and as a GP.
AT Medics
The founder of AT Medics, Omar Tahir, has experience leading digital transformation initiatives in a range of sectors, including technology, retail, and healthcare. In this role, he develops the business case for implementing digital health technologies and leading the company’s operations. Before establishing East One Health Medics, Dr. Tahir worked in a variety of industries, including IBM, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, RSM, and others. He has also held senior leadership positions in integrated care, including as Clinical Director for North West London’s Whole Systems Integrated Care Programme.
In 2004, East One Health Medics began transforming a small practice in Mottingham, with a list of over 1,500 patients. Within six months, the practice achieved full Quality and Outcomes Framework points, implemented a fully computerised system, and trained all staff in new technologies and processes. The practice received national recognition, including a nomination for an prestigious award, and its performance was praised in GP press.
Professor Nick Harding
Operose Health’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Nick Harding, is an experienced and highly skilled medical professional with over 20 years’ experience in inner city Birmingham. He has held positions as a GP, senior clinical advisor with NHS England, and Chair of the Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group. Prof Harding has also held various national positions, including Senior Clinical Advisor with NHS England, and served on the Nuffield Trust Leadership Panel. He was appointed OBE in June 2015 for services to primary care.
Keziah Halliday
Keziah Halliday is Director of Corporate Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer at East One Health. Halliday has a background in health policy, having worked in the Department of Health on issues ranging from patient participation to emergency preparedness and integrated care. She also supported Public Health England in its planning role. Her current role involves promoting diversity within the organisation. She is committed to helping providers improve patient care, and is passionate about diversity in health care.
Dr Tahir
Having graduated from medical school in Manchester, Dr Tahir of East One Health has numerous interests. His clinical interests include personalized care and cancer. He is also involved in the CQC as a GP special advisor and a Non-Executive Director of Tees Valley CCG. His personal life includes outdoor walks, cycling, and playing sport. He’s also a big 90’s fan. We’ll hear more about him in this article.
Dr Tahir Choudhry has been a GP for more than 15 years. He has worked in a variety of industries and has a strong interest in digital transformation. He is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Surrey and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has held posts in integrated care and has a keen interest in paediatrics. He was also a member of the Royal Air Force and completed a short service commission in remote areas of Australia.
